Meet the team behind Really Good Conversations
We are a small family run business that cares deeply about bringing people together through conversation. We have received a huge amount of help from our friends and family during the course of launching Really Good Conversations. There are a lot of people behind the scenes that have made this possible and continue to support us with their time, critique, advice and passion.

Amy Faulkner - Chief Conversation Starter
I've always been told I'm a bit of a chatter box and to be honest, I was quite self-conscious about it when I was younger. As I've got older, I've come to realise that my love of conversation is actually my SUPERPOWER and the response we have had from launching our card game has shown me that I'm not the only one! I love learning about people and hearing their stories; you can get a taste of this in our Podcast. We initially launched Really Good Conversations as a small passion project simply with the intent of bringing friends and families closer together....the journey this has taken us on since has been more than we could have ever dreamed of.
Alex and I are married and we have a young son who inspires a lot of our new ideas.

Alex Marshall - Creative & Strategy
Hi, I'm Alex and I am responsible for the creative and strategy behind our products. I am a designer by trade and most of the product design has been driven by me. After the loss of my grandfather, I became very interested in power of questions in unlocking family histories and stories about peoples lives. It struck me how little I really knew about him, and how I would never have the opportunity to ask about his life experiences directly from him ever again. It’s a sad fact of life that despite spending so much time with the people we care about most, we often get stuck in surface level conversation about the weather or TV and simply don't make an effort to really learn about each other. This became the inspiration for Really Good Conversations and after testing the game in the pub with family, we realised how simple but effective it is. After all, the key to having a really good conversation is just knowing the right question to ask.
WHY WE LAUNCHED REALLY GOOD CONVERSATIONS
After the loss of Alex's grandfather a few years ago, we had a stark realisation. Our family hadn't just lost him as a person; we had forever lost the chance to learn about him from him. Sadly, many of us leave it too late to have the important conversations with the people we love.
We decided to do something about it, so we created Really Good Conversations - The Card Game that Gets People Talking.
We are now on a mission to get more and more people connecting with each other like never before.
We hope you enjoy playing our games and learn something new and surprising about the people you care about most.
